trying to find out why seller is selling

My partner and I are in due diligence period for a 44 unit multifamily.

We have asked a few times why the seller is selling but wont get any real answer from the broker.   We have not made direct contact with the seller.

Would this be a red flag for anyone?   Or does it not matter as long as everything else on our due diligence checklist checks out ok?

Thanks....

@Brad Mast

There could be tons of reasons why they are selling and if you are thoroughly doing your due diligence, if it has to do with the property, you will more than likely find it.  Talk with tenants too when walking through property.  They can give you an idea of things they want to see fixed or corrected with where they live.  Hope that helps some.
