NH lead paint law changes (SB 247)

Hello to all the New Hampshire investors out there!

Wanted to check in to see if anyone is anticipating changes to their business models based on the SB 247 changes to lead paint testing (mandatory infant testing, lower thresholds etc.).

Could see this posing an issue or at least change the capex considerations for value add multi's, especially those with larger 2+ bedroom units.

Would love to hear from anyone involved with older multi's and what considerations you are making w/ existing portfolio and new purchases.

@Ann Bellamy @Mike Hurney would love your insight here especially.

Thanks!

James

There has been a lot of hand wringing about the changes, but the NH lead paint law is so much less restrictive than other states, (ie MA) that I think the inital reaction is overblown and business will continue as usual.  My personal opinion only.
