MultiFamily in St. Pete

Trying to narrow down options within the St.Pete area for Multifamily properties. I am new to real estate and am wanting to get a good understanding of the market in the area in order to figure out what I should be aiming for to get in return per month. Are there any multifamily investors in the St. Pete area that can tell me what their aim is for monthly revenue? I will be house hacking for the first year, but just want to narrow down my numbers to find the "good deals".

    @Joey Keske

    Definitely network for deals, mentors, contractor recommendations.

    I invest in greater Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota area along with Ohio and KY. The local REIA in Tampa is very active. They just had an on-site renovation group that met earlier this week in St Pete. You can find them at tampareia.com. There is also a BeachREIA there and a less active REIA in Sarasota.

    I am not as familiar with the Tampa Bay REIA so I can not speak to that.
