Certificate of Occupancy after Foreclosure
I am in the process of buying a condo in Utica, MI. This property is bank owned after going through foreclosure. I am wondering whether the Certificate of Occupancy is automatically invalid after foreclosure and needs to be reissued by the city. Does anybody have experience with that? What kind of inspections are being performed by the building department?
