Using application or software for loan mods/short sales?

Does anyone use applications/software/spreadsheets to qualify clients for solutions? To maximize my time, I'm planning submit my homeowner leads' financial statement info to a program in order to automatically calculate debt/income ratio, LTV etc. to qualify them for a short sale, loan mod, or other solutions. Most software I'm looking at is ridiculously expensive (hundreds to thousands of dollars for a simple prog)

If anyone has any recommendations or would like to send a spreadsheet or two my way, it would be much appreciated
