Property brought at auction.
BP family,
What actions can you take if you have purchased a property at a foreclosure auction and your inspection reveals; water damage, termite damage, serious mechanical problems ect, and come at a large cost to fix?

If you are buying at the courthouse Master Commissioner sale in any county in Kentucky whether it be Fayette where you live or here in Hardin where I do, all MC sales are "as-is". All MC notices of sale that I have seen, and I have attended MC sales there in Fayette County, come with a lengthy disclaimer that the MC does not in any way warrant the property.
And you are correct they are sight unseen. Unless you are buying a piece of vacant land you can inspect from the street, you are buying whatever is right or wrong with the property.
