Funds for Section 8 homes

So, when I was growing up, my parents had quite a few rental properties. They were all section 8 homes and were financed through HUD I think. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of any program that will loan you money to purchase homes if you sign a contract to agree to make the home a section 8 home for a designated length of time. Thanks for any info.
