Title Insurance for Properties Acquired at Sheriff Sale

Hey all! Time to turn to the hive mind that is bigger pockets to answer another question related to sheriff sales. I'm interested in purchasing properties at the Allegheny County sheriff's sale to flip and have heard from several sources that it can take six or more months for the county to actually disperse funds so that an end buyer could get title insurance on the property. Obviously this is of concern because an end buyer who needs bank financing would almost certainly need to have title insurance. If this is the case it obviously increases my holding costs and risk of market shifts significantly so I want to see what folks who have experience with this particular sheriff sale have to say. Any insight on this would be much appreciated. Thanks! Matt Keywords: Pittsburgh, foreclosure sale
