Attracting Commercial Real Estate Investors
Hi everybody!
This is my very first post. So, I hope I don't screw it up...you know...that first impression rule can be a killer. Anyway...my question is a general one. My brothers and I recently formed an LLC and we're actually pretty new to the real estate market. Over the past year, I have been trying to come up with creative ways to expand the business. I would like for us to start trying to find opportunities within the commercial real estate market. We have some raw land near a major interstate and our area is beginning to see a lot of development. I thought a major big box retailer would find the location to be desirable. So, I gave the company a call and spoke with their real estate guy. He said that the population around the interstate was currently too sparse for their requirements. I told him about the development and growth that was happening in our area. However, he still said that, for now, he had to decline.
I was just curious if anyone knew what the best approach or strategy would be if you wanted to attract commercial real estate investors to your property? I am particularly interested in leasing land to a prospective company or business. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm just a newbie looking for knowledge. :)
