Pandemic VS Storage Units

I'm looking for some storage unit owners OR managers today!  How did storage units fair during the Covid pandemic?  Was their any noticeable effect on self-serve storage that you were able to directly attribute to the virus outbreak?  Many thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Interesting question. I have wondered what the long term prospects are of storage. The baby boomer generation were hoarders. Even Gen X have a lot of stuff. I am seeing trends with younger generations being more minimalist and embracing more of a subscription life style.
