What’s my play? Waterfront property + Executive Chef
I have a friend with waterfront property in FL that wants a restaurant. And I have several friends who are executive chefs. The property-owning friend is open to a commercial relationship.
What is my best play here?
- Broker introductions and get a fee?
- Stay involved and get some passive income?
- Other?
Not sure what my options are, but I would like to see my waterfront property-owning friend see his dream come true.

Hi Greg,
If it were me I'd try to attract an experienced national "deep pockets" operator (that matches the local demographic spending) to triple net lease it or sell it outright to them (after getting the zoning changed--if they will change it).
Good Luck!
