How to Claim CAM Reimbursement - e.g. Dollar General
Are there any Dollar General experts out there who can share how the Dollar General CAM reimbursement process works? Are there special forms necessary for the claim, do they go by the calendar year, etc. I contacted the DG real estate folks for info. They told me to 'follow what is outlined in the lease'. I really hate to admit it, but I don't have a copy of the lease (I have just recently assumed management of the family real estate). I asked DG for a copy of the lease but no response. I get the sense that they aren't encouraged to help owners with things that may cost DG money.
I think there may be a clock ticking on the CAM claim. Thanks for any tips on how to get this done.
