Is my Realtor acting in my best interest, or her loan officer's?

Is it ethical for my Realtor to ask me what the rate quote was that I received from my loan officer, and share it with her preferred lender, who is also preparing a quote for me?  Nothing was asked or disclosed, she just texted me the question, which I assume is for her lender that she's been hyping up since day 1.

She also told me there was another offer coming in the same day I submitted mine, inclining me toward offering full price, but she did not check (or let me know if she did) that there were in fact no competing offers before I summitted mine that evening (the house had been on the market roughly 60 days at that point, which is long for this area).

I don't think she is trying to work against my best interest, and has showed some signs of just being less experienced than others. But, I'm not really sure.

Thanks so much for sharing any thoughts or opinions on this!

Rebecca

So to be clear.....you dont want your agent trying to leverage their relationships into getting you a better loan quote?
