This is an interesting article discussing the end of the forbearance program. The number of homes coming off the program is 1.5 million, with 1.3 million as inventory nationally now.
As they note, many will resume paying, others will be caught up, others adding to end of their term, etc. But, there will still be a percentage, Zillow guesses 25% that will hit the market. over many months through 2022.  This with increasing rates that have been inching up and buyers cooling to prices... Will be interesting to see , have to imagine there will be more opportunities that will present themselves.
