Getting Straight in the Head for REI

One of the biggest challenges over the years that I've encountered is getting straight in the head for REI. I've read the books, attended the seminars and I've even done some deals. Yet, I've had times when I talk myself out of doing the things I need to do to be successful in investing.

Can anyone else relate to what I'm saying here?

My commitment last year was to overcome my mindset of mediocrity and to grow in my mindset that tends to slow down my progress.  I think about that internal dialogue that drives some people and stops others.

What are some of the best ways you all have overcome your roadblocks and mental excuses / challenges?
