Sell my California home?

I own a home in Perris Ca I bought it for 250k I owe 225k.

I lost my good paying job.

Wife wants to move to Texas.

Should I sell or rent the home?

Looking to make a decision by April.

Depends on your finances, lots of people are selling their California homes making a nice profit and moving to Texas and buying their homes here in Cash, no mortgage. However, you can also rent your home out and hire a property management company, but that would mean 2 mortgages and PM fees
