Real Estate Professional Status/Time Tracking

Any recommendations on the most efficient way to track your time when classified as a real estate professional? My accountant wants me to start doing this in the event of an audit being I’m starting larger projects and will be implementing cost segregation

We use a very simple spreadsheet, date, activity done, hours spent, miles driven. We have been audited by the IRS recently with no issues.

I ended up doing a STR under 7 days to offset my W2 income. Way easier for me. :)

I found a free monthly timesheet template that eventually worked great for me. I see lots of us struggle with time tracking, so I shared it here; hope it helps. (It's also printable.)
