Scranton PA investing

Posted

Hello all,

I’m a native NYer and am looking to invest in single or multi to cash flow and hold. I have looked at Scranton pa as it is about 2 hrs away, which seems like a reasonable distance to remain comfortable. I’m wondering people’s general thoughts on the market. It seems to be a working class town that was far cheaper several years ago. My concern would just be that a lot of people have labor and restaurant jobs and how long will those take to return. Obviously no one has a crystal ball just looking for input. If not has anyone from NY had success in other locations nearby?
