How much time are you investing?
Hi, friends!
I enjoy BP because of the mix of people using investing in ways that best suits their lifestyle (i.e. investing as a side hustle, full time investors, etc.)
With that being said, how much time are you investing into your real estate strategy and how does this align with your investment goals?
For me, my goal is to have 30 doors by the time I hit my 30th birthday and with my current portfolio, it is looking like I need to acquire 4 doors per year for the next 6 years. I currently spend about 5 hours per week on learning, networking, negotiating with sellers, etc... Mind you, I work full time and I am in a graduate program so I have to be very intentional with how I allocate my time, but I would like to up my time spent on this to 10 hours per week, or 1.5 per day.
What about you guys?

@Courtney James congratulations! Investing in RE, working FT, and pursuing grad school, is a lot to do simultaneously. Only a small population of individuals actually end up creating a goal and trying to pursue it at a young age.
With that being said, the amount of time is very dependent on each person's end goal and strategy. Key is allocating equal amounts of time researching and looking for deals as it is to build relationships with brokers, agents, local banks, etc.
I currently spent between 10-15 hours per week, mostly on building relationships and analyzing deals. Try to spend 4-5 hours a week reading books and on BP, researching different topics.
