Avoiding Capital Gains?
Hello BP world!
I have some friends that are looking to move back in town. They bought a home last May after accepting a traveling nurse position and have the opportunity to accept another position back home here. They will need to sell their current home to afford to move back but what is the rule with the capital gains tax since they haven't owned the home for even a year even? It was their primary and they will be moving again for work.
Thanks!
