NW Indiana Economic Development

I'm looking into the prospect of including properties in NW Indiana in my rental property portfolio and I'm curious what you all are seeing in terms of where the most development is happening? I know the area has plans to invest into developing the job market and increasing its reputation as an industry hub, and I'd love to get some insight on what towns/counties you are seeing the best long-term buy and hold prospects? I am specifically looking for multifamily (du/tri/quadplex) and would appreciate any insight on where good opportunities lie on that front as well to give me some direction on where to start honing in on. Thanks in advance for any info you might share.
