What is the most important things you learnt from RE investing?

For me personally, RE teaches me it is never how hard you work, it is how clever you work. 

I do not need to go to work and get up at 7 am every morning due to my real estate investment. But My old classmates/colleagues who only earn 10% of my cash flow still need to get up at 7 and stay in the office for 8-9 hours per day.  

Life is not fair in every way, you really need to learn the rule of the game.
