I’m looking to purchase a property that currently has a repair garage on it. I want to tear it down and build on it. A friend mentioned that there may be environmental issues that would need to be address that could be costly. Does anybody have a pulse on assessing the likelihood of an issue that would require extensive work and money to improve such a property?
