Investing in Catskills NY

Hello, I purchased an investmemt property duplex out of state and it its doing well. I'm looking in Catskills area to buy a multi as listings are very resonable and great STR returns. However the homes seem to sit on the market much, much longer which could be risky to purchase there. Anyone familiar with what's happening there and can provide some feedback would be much appreciated.
