Personal Home ?? Should I sell or hang onto it for awhile?

Hello everyone. We spend a lot of time talking about our rentals and investments. I wanted to ask as few questions about what people are doing with their personal homes. I am unsure of selling my house and buying another one is a good idea. I have a new subdivision being built beside me that is going to be a above 55 year old community, across the street is a wealthy neighborhood that is I think has past it potential to gain anymore in appreciation. I do live in one of the most sought after school districts. I have heard mixed reviews about above 55 year old communities and wondering if the neighborhoods across the street has reached its peak since most of the homes were build in the 1970s and the market has not changed much in their value over the years. Any thoughts?
