Historical Rent Price Data- Where To Find

I've searched BLS, Census, etc and can't seem to find good historical rent price data broken out by city/MSA

Anyone know where to find this? I'd be looking for it to go back to at least 2007 so I can see effect downturn had on rents.

Thanks!
