Buying A House Someone Was Murdered In

Hey everyone,

I am looking at buying a house in an upper middle class part of town.  The house is off market, so I am getting it at a discount.  The only thing that concerns me is someone was recently beat to death in the house.  I doubt the whole town knows that is happened in this house, but the neighbors definitely do.  Is this fact going to make the house sell for less than what the comps are saying?  I plan on selling it this coming spring.  Whether you have gone through this or not, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I don't blame them. That sounds like a movie plot. Maybe you could market it to horror buffs.
