Looking for Commercial Agents in Columbia, SC

I'm looking at a 12-unit complex 3 miles from USC.  While the numbers look solid, I'd like to work with someone who knows the area.  The listing agent hasn't answered any of my questions, and I'm at the point where I need to work with a professional in the area.

Thanks

Not sure what you are looking at but 3 miles is an eternity to USC students.  I wouldn't bet on them as your market.  You may get some students but I'd be sure the neighborhood is decent.

Just an opinion from a non-agent :)

@Paul Schackman totally agree with @Andrew R. Lucas here. It depends on the neighborhood/area. What's the zip code of the property? 29205 and 29201 are best for USC. 29204/29169/29033 are a "maybe". And anything outside of that, especially 29203 I would say probably not. I'm also a non-agent as well.

    @Andrew R. Lucas @Will Gaston.....I too agree that it is far for students, I wouldn't be purchasing for student housing.  I was just using it as a point of reference.  The zip is 29205.  I more so wanted to know if it was an OK area.

    Mr. Schackman;

    If you'd like me to do some research on  this property I am happy to do it. Both commenters  here, Will and Andrew, can tell you about my background and their experience with me as an agent. PM them though because if they can't stand me, I prefer not to know. They are doing a great job of acting friendly when we talk.

    Columbia is a great place to invest but as they point out there are some caveats in regard to the neighborhoods and whom to expect as tenants.
