The best way to form a partnership?

If myself and a friend want to go in 50/50 on a property, what is the best way to go about this? Draft and operating agreement and go from there? Or should a trust be formed? Thx!

An operating agreement should be in place. Most lenders will want to see it. Other than that, an LLC will work fine.
