General real estate question on old church
Hello everyone I'm Larry I'm glad I found this site hoping to be able to exchange ideas and learn from everyone . We started investment in sfh in 2000 along with a few flips along the way that turned out fairly well .We now have only 5 houses and 5 mobile homes but looking for deals everyday we never can let our guard down and let the good ones get past us lol. But anyway I found a old church building that has a full basement under it that looks to be in fairly good shape / no basement leaks and the upstairs is wide open other than we're the platform was I was thinking along the line of possibly converting this over to a triplex two upstairs and the basement being it has a door to the outside the property also has a small 2 bedroom house that goes with the property that needs about 15000 worth of work . I'm pretty sure I can get the whole place purchased for 35000 Has anyone ever converted a old church before ?
