Welcome to Lima. Talk to the resident Lima expert Ben Leybovich
He may have a home or a portfolio to sell you before he bolts Ohio.
Hi @Corey Woodruff - I can't speak much for Troy, although I believe it only has one Zip code. As far as Dayton goes, you can't really determine how good or bad an area is around here using Zip codes. Many Zips around here span multiple neighborhoods/municipalities, and several school districts. If you're serious about investing in Dayton, I would suggest a road trip to tour the area - determining good vs. bad is very much a street-by-street analysis.
awesome advice. thats what i planned on doing I know some large cities are all based around zip codes determining which neighborhoods are good or bad.
Thanks
Sorry to hijack this thread, but do any of you know of any property management companies that handle St. Mary's? I've tried the Dayton and Columbus forums with no luck.
I'm assuming (hoping), @Corey Woodruff, that if you are looking in Lima, Troy, and Dayton, that you may be looking for property management as well. So hopefully this isn't a total hijack.
Good luck in Ohio.
@Corey Woodruff, Don't let the Ohio State fans bug you, there's a pretty big Michigan community in Ohio. I'm originally from the Saginaw area, and initially started investing there. Dayton is much better overall.
Good zip codes in Lima and surrounding area are 45806, 45807, 1/2 of the 45805, and 45801 are good starts. Let me know what you are looking for, and I can help.
