Client is in a chapter 13 and mortgage is behind three months. How difficult is it to buy a home that's in a chapter 13?

Hi @Ty Murray. Depends: Is the home mortgage part of the Chapter 13 plan?

If it is, and they are otherwise making their Ch. 13 payments, the mortgage should be getting paid as part of those payments.

If the mortgage is outside of the Ch. 13, the lender is eventually going to foreclose, if the mortgage goes unpaid for too long.
