Agent Compensation Question

Hello BP,

I have been working with an agent for a month or two and have had no luck in finding a property. This is by no means his fault, and he has done a lot of work for me.

So my question is - Should I compensate him for the work he has done even though we have not found a deal. Is there a protocol for doing this?

Thanks in advance!

That's kind of you to offer compensation. Even better than compensation would be referrals, whether it be friends or family because you know he will work hard for them as well.
