buying first property

hello biggerpockets members I'm Andrew. I have a question maybe and hopefully someone one can help me. I'm new to the investing world of real estate. I hope this is not a dumb question but I'm stuck on how to buy my first investment property I work a nnormal job and don't make very much money maybe 1.2k a month  have no bills though. keeping that in mind I would I go about buying my first investment property.
