Does anyone know where I can look and easily find building guidelines for different areas in the city of Los Angeles and/or LA county?  I'm looking for a resource that will easily tell me how large I can build on a certain size lot.  Thank you ahead of time!

Hi Zachary,

1. You can use zimas to check the zoning of a specific Los Angeles address as well as see if its in any special regulation zones with its own rules

2. Take a look a this pdf which summarizes the general zoning rules

Good luck!
