I am close to retirement age and after a divorce several years ago I want purchase another home. I also want to purchase investment properties to support my retirement. Which should I do first? Also when purchasing investment properties should I get a line of credit vs financing?

If I were in your shoes, I would purchase a multifamily...Since you can get one with little down and that way you are solving two issues...A place to live and investment property...Then do it again after your FHA loan allows you to move out. Good luck!
