Anyone know how flexible the asking prices on HUD homes are...There is a home in my area that went under contract during first 60 days on market. I was interested but was waiting for them to drop the price as it was full on retail and needs a solid 8k in renovations... Their deal just came apart as the buyer couldn't get their financing done. It had dropped 6k in asking price the day it went under contract and now its back up at full on retail again. My Realtor says he usually sees them move about 10% in purchase price. Anyone have any experience with this?
