Credit Karma Now Offers Transunion and Equifax Scores Free!

I have always been a big fan of CreditKarma.com as it is a free way to check your credit. They now offer a free way to check both your transunion and equifax report. As time goes on they are adding more and more details to their site. They are currently updating the credit simulator where you can figure out what you need to do to increase your credit score! I'll add to this post when I see it is up and running again.

A few examples of minimum credit scores for different loan products:

FHA/USDA/VA loans are a minimum of a 600 credit score

Conventional Financing - Mortgages 1-4 minimum credit score of 620 and Mortgages 5-10 a minimum credit score of 720.
