Final Walk Through on out of state property

David Tran

I'm buying my first out of state investment property in Texas.  I plan to fly out and view the property during the inspection since I have an option period to cancel the deal.

Anyone have advice on how they typically handle viewing investment properties that they purchase out of state?  How do you handle the final walk through?

Thanks!

@David Tran Why even fly out?  Save the plane ticket monies and invest them on a good property inspection.

Unless you're an expert, you're wasting your time and money.

Now if you're flying out to also get to know the neighborhood, look at other properties, build your team, etc...other value activities, go for it.  But to fly out, just to walk through the property...low value for the money IMO.
