Do I need a real estate agent?
If I am purchasing a property at a court house auction, do I need to have a real estate agent with me to purchase the property or can I just buy it?

No, you don't need an agent. But the fact that you ask this question, means you need to sit down for an hour with a RE attorney that deals with title and Foreclosures. It'll be the best money you've spent. There are many threads here on buying at auction. Use the search function, or browse through the categories. Court house auctions have many traps, and you could lose a great portion of your investment if you don't do your homework.
