Mold remediation
I am negotiating the purchase of my first duplex and one of the units has evidence of mold throughout the basement. Appears to be from a leaky faucet, leaky tub and some from the exterior. What is the best way to structure the deal so the seller has to take responsibility for remediation and most of the cost to get it back to a basic habitable property? Any other things I should watch out for with the mold?
