I hired a home inspector for my first deal and will be doing my inspection tomorrow.  Does anybody have any good tips for me?  I.E. Common things that you had to remind a home inspector to check, tip for negotiating any need repairs, ECT.

@John Cimino  Rather than trying to teach him his job, I would advise tapping his knowledge and learning from his experience. Use your home inspections as a chance to take one step at a time toward being able to do a better job of evaluating a property yourself. That is my tip. Ask questions, observe, and learn.
