good books on real estate cycles

I am looking for some good books on real estate cycles and how to profit from the different phases. Trying to decide for myself what phase of the cycle we're in San Diego, and what to do. Since I like to read both sides of the argument, I am trying to pick up some books taking different approaches. Not looking for somebody else's opinion on what cycle we are in, but more how to profit in different phases. I have some good stuff from Bruce Norris, am going through that, but always looking for more!
