Hey everyone, I just wanted to preface this introductory post by thanking everyone for their posts and their time!

I’m 22 years old, currently in insurance, working on helping my girlfriend through school to be a sonographer. Together, we’re hoping to start investing and growing our net worth.

What I'm looking for is some direction. Cutting through the noise of marketing and gurus. I've considered many options; wholesaling, section 8 (more popular in recent years), BRRR's, etc. If anyone has any threads or materials worth reading/watching/studying to get some foundational RE education, I'd greatly appreciate it! Anyone local, I'd love to meet a group or a few successful investors looking to mentor someone in exchange for some of the tedious work in acquiring/underwriting deals.

Not looking to bypass the work. I can pay my dues, and I want to. I just want to be smart about it, and if I can help anyone make some money in exchange for the knowledge and experience that’s worth it to me!
