I just watched an advertisement online for an upcoming free webinar. The real estate company offers syndications and syndication education services. For those who attend this free webinar, you are provided a list of 300 CRE brokers. Best part....in the advertisement this list of 300 Brokers is valued at $99! I've been investing in real estate for a long time and it takes years to cultivate good broker relationships. The good ones become trusted advisors and are leaned on heavily. If you are a broker and are on this list how would you feel being treated like a late night informercial kitchen gadget buy one get two free offer? I'd be furious. Perhaps others disagree and believe all promotion is good promotion?

Most real estate investors oversimplify some aspects of their business and overcomplicate other areas. Those who strike the correct in between balance are generally those who are most successful. This list of 300 Brokers being given away and valued at $99 is just another reminder of this.
