Buyers Agent commissions

Chirdeep Bhutani
Posted

General Question: After the new rules went into effects, how are people writing contracts with the buyer's agents. Are sellers still paying for buyers agent?  How much commission is right if Seller isn't paying? It feels like a lot if I have to pay a full 2.5% to my agent to buy something in addition to all closing expenses.

Thanks in advance.

It just changed how they disclose the commission. Commission is always negotiable even before the settlement.
