Running rentals through LLC?

Hey BP, I am getting close to purchasing my first multifamily investment property. I am contemplating establishing an LLC to run the properties through. I am planning to buy a duplex or triplex, house hack one of the units.

Any advise on whether to or not to incorporate? What are the benefits? What things to consider? I am a newbie investor, this will be my first property. Thanks in advance!

Hi Natali,

I am not an attorney so I would suggest contacting a local real estate attorney but having an LLC should provide personal liability protection.
