House failed reinspection - contract expired

Hi - we were supposed to close on a house yesterday but they said it ready for reinspection until Friday. So when we had a re inspection done, it turned out they only did half the repairs and the ones they did were “temporary.” Our purchase agreement expired yesterday can we just walk? It is not ideal as our house is packed and my husband is in short term housing, but my husband is pretty disgusted with the way the seller has handled this in general. Oh and there is one major repair that they just started Friday - that will not be done for several days.

Thanks
