Hi,

I am first time investor in Florida. I have significant amount of more fees as compared to North Carolina particularly  

1. Intangible Tax to Simplifile

2. Mortgage transfer tax to simplifile

3. State deed transfer tax to simplifile

I have always bought SFH in NC but decided to buy duplex and quads in JAX area from a built-to-rent company. I am taken aback by these significant tax fees. In NC, you usually have a stamp tax fee that gets paid by seller. Any advice or 2c would be very much appreciated.
