flipping a meth house in houston texas

I have a good deal on a vacant house here in houston texas to rehab and flip, but the owner told me today that she was in jail for a year for drug possession. She didn't elaborate on it any more than that, and I don't know moving forward If I should pursue this deal. I have it under contract with title right now. I called local police dept and they said they have responded to calls several times at that address, but they will only tell me what for if I submit a written request. Was wondering if I should pursue that or just get a written statement from the owner, she says nothing having any thing to do with drugs happened at the house.
